Rita Gendelman
Autism Specialist | Family Constellation Facilitator

Born in Ukraine, Rita spent 30 years in New York City before making Hawai‘i her home five years ago. With a master’s degree in occupational therapy, she dedicated much of her early career to supporting children on the autism spectrum and their families. Through this work, Rita recognized the profound impact that family dynamics and unseen bonds have on both children and parents. This realization led her to Family Constellations, a practice that opened a new doorway of healing and understanding.

Over the years, Rita has woven her background as an occupational therapist with the deep wisdom of Family Constellations to develop her own unique body of work. She holds space with sensitivity, tuning into the field and guiding others to discover what lies beneath the surface. In her sessions, she treasures the moments when the coldness of pain or disconnection begins to melt, and warmth returns to a person’s face and eyes.

Today, Rita works with parents and their children, helping them understand the distinct roles each person plays within the family system while discovering new ways of belonging. She also supports women navigating intimacy and relationship challenges, as well as individuals carrying the weight of emotional or mental health struggles. For Rita, Family Constellations is a path of revealing hidden patterns, restoring flow, and gently guiding people home to themselves and their loved ones.
